So sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. Judy and I became friends through ABWA. Many fond memories with her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

  2. I am so sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. We became friends when we were both members of ABWA. She will be missed.

  3. Brenda Broadway

Our family met Judy when we moved into the Mahaffey’s neighborhood. I was in the fourth grade. Those were the times the Red Bear was coming and life was all about drills and protecting ourselves by putting our hands over our heads and hiding under our desks to survive the ‘A’ blast. It was the times when JFK was assassinated, and we were excused from school for a week. And the excitement of the first man on the moon
Yep. Do the math. I’ve known Judy for a very long time.
I’d love to say, “Rest in Peace, Sweet Judy,” but I don’t think that’s what she’s doing. Resting. I believe she’s going onward.
It’s stated that a soul never dies. If a soul never dies, it deserves our loving thoughts and prayers. For if a soul never dies, that soul feels the love on it’s forward journey.
Judy has earned her wings. She’s not resting. Let’s send her our love, thoughts and prayers, so she can fly. God bless the family.

I worked with Judy for many years at Methodist Children’s Home. Judy was fair, compassionate, caring
and a supportive staff advocate. She was always available when needed and willing to do whatever was necessary to make MCH a better place to serve youth.
It was an honor to work with her.

Our family sends our deep condolences upon Aunt Judy’s passing. Although we never met her, Gavin and Cami expressed nothing but love and kindness about her. I know she will be deeply missed.

  6. Sorry for loss! May her memory linger with you.
God bless you and your family!
