Kathryn Lynn Dailey, 60, of Athens, died Monday, July 1, 2019 at her home.
Service Information: A memorial service will be held in her honor 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, at Horn Hill Cemetery in Groesbeck, Texas.
Kathryn was born November 14, 1958 at Carswell AFB, Fort Worth, Texas to Shirley Nonamaker and Bob Dailey. She graduated in 1977 from Mart High School.
Kathryn was the rock in her circle. She was always understanding, forgiving and reliable. She was the one you could lean on or cry to, and never wanted anything in return. Spending time with family, walking on a cool autumn beach, and riding horses with friends brought her joy. Remember her face, and you will remember her smile.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Stovall; father, Bob Dailey; and stepfather, Doyle Nonamaker.
She is survived by her children, Howard Flournoy III “Trey”, Jackie McKinley “JD” (Amanda), and Kortnee Mason (Jason); a nephew who is like a son to her, Cody Stovall (Margarita); grandsons, Isom, Madden, Rowan, Jasper, Jarett, Jacob, Hunter, and David; granddaughters, Shyann, Addison, Courtlyn, Avarie, and Emily. She is also survived by her mother, Shirley Nonamaker; sisters, Robbie Dailey, Sarah Denney, Suean Burden, and Patricia Nonamaker; brothers, Kenneth Dailey, Richard Nonamaker, and Clifford Davenport; and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Unfortunately we only knew each other a few years, but I I am thankful for the friendship we formed . There are several memories I will cherish, but my favorite is in Vegas at the wedding of our children! They both hit the jackpot when they found each other! I will miss you my friend! Rest In Peace!
You will be missed my sweet friend…rest in peace
Cheryl
I was sorry to hear of her passing. I had only known her for a short time but she was a genuine, caring person. I’ll miss her terribly. I hope the family finds the peace and strength to get through this strategy.
