Kathleen (Kathy) Birkes, 65, of Waco, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Waco, TX.
At her request, no ceremony was to be held. Cremation was performed on July 24th and her cremains were distributed to her sons.
Kathleen was born Oct. 2, 1957, in Waco, to Sylvester and Roberta (Barnes) Birkes who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, Derek and Jonis.
Her sons wish to extend their appreciation to her friend, Judy Rainey, as well as to Lakeshore Village Nursing and Rehab, Community Hospice, and Lake Shore Funeral Home and Cremation Services for their care and help in her last days.
