Kenneth Lee Wilkerson, Jr., 63, of Waco, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

Visitation: 6PM-8PM Wednesday, December 1 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

 Graveside Service: 10AM Thursday, December 2 at Oakwood Cemetery.

Kenneth’s life began on October 29, 1958, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was the firstborn son of Kenneth Lee and Peggy Wilkerson.  At the age of 18, he joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country with great courage. Kenneth was blessed with children, stepchildren, and grandchildren who he loved and cherished.

Kenneth will be greatly missed by all who know him. He was a dedicated son, father, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with this family and friends. His hobbies included fishing and shooting guns. He had a passion for photography, music, and singing karaoke. Kenneth loved to talk and never met a stranger. Everyone who knew him would agree that he had an opinion about everything.  His love and passion for life will continue to live in our hearts forever.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lee Wilkerson, Sr.; sister, Peggy Wilkerson; and his beloved daughter Jaime Wilkerson.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy and husband George Lowrey of Bynum; sisters, Brenda Lightfoot of Oklahoma, Teresa Wilkerson and Melanie Wilkerson of Waco; brothers, Larry Wilkerson and wife Paula of Hillsboro, and James Wilkerson and wife Laurinda of Waco. His beloved sons, Jeremy Wilkerson and wife Johnnie of Waco, Justin Wilkerson and wife Elsa of Waco, and Caleb Wilkerson of Waco; daughters, Jennifer Wilkerson and Desiree Wilkerson of Waco; stepdaughters, Laurie and husband Delvin Dunner of Waco, and Whitney Dieterich of Waco, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
