Kenneth Lloyd Simpson, 77 of Waco, passed away peacefully after a long battle with lung and heart disease on October 1, 2023. Kenneth was born on January 9, 1946 in Waco, Texas. Kenneth graduated from Richfield High School and attended Hill Jr. College. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1966 to serve two tours in Vietnam with honorable discharge in March 1969. Upon return from the war, he worked as a cable repair technician at Southwestern Bell from 1969 until he retired. Kenneth loved deep sea fishing on the Texas coast, boating, hunting, and mechanical repair of boats and cars.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents Lloyd and Leola Simpson and sister Kandi Czichos. He is survived by his children Kristy Simpson, Lorin Rosanbalm, Jacob Simpson, grandchildren Morgan and Mabry, sister Laura Taylor, niece Leah, nephew Matthew and his friends Bubba Wolske and Jesse Courtney.
