Larry Wayne Buro was born on September 20, 1958 in Waco, TX to N. A .(Buddy) and Wanda Buro. Larry grew up on the Buro Family Farm & Dairy in China Spring, TX. Larry worked for many years on the Buro Farm & Dairy before establishing his own business “Larry’s Portable Buildings” in 1995. Larry loved being self-employed, but decided to seek a career in maintenance at China Spring I.S.D in 2004 where he became the maintenance supervisor, and also drove the school bus. He was also graduate of China Spring High School, Class of 1977. Larry excelled in his work and took great pride in every project at the school.
Larry was tall, strong, hard-working and most importantly a straight shooter, always offering up guidance and advice to all that asked for it and some that did not. He could always be counted on for a helping hand. Larry loved farming, working the land and being on his property. He loved spending time with his family always encouraging visits and time together. Larry was a hunter and fisherman who looked forward to each new season. He also enjoyed working on his seasonal vegetable gardens. Larry found his Savior, Jesus Christ, many years before he was called home. He was hungry for the gospel and shared its glory with all that knew him.
Larry was Preceded in Death by his father, N.A. (Buddy) Buro; and brother, Robert John Buro.
