Laura McMahan Hart, 94 of Waco, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016.
Memorial Service: Friday, February 26, 2016 at 2:00PM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1601 South Robinson Drive, Robinson, Texas
Laura was born Oct. 20, 1921 to Alvie & Iona (Hines) Wright in Moody, TX and attended Moody schools. She worked at Martin Linen and Library Binding and became a homemaker when she married Joe Hart in May, 1976. She loved fishing, playing cards and dominoes. Laura traveled all over the U.S. with Joe and lived in a number of states, most recently New Mexico, and she truly loved the mountains of New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by son, Michael McMahan; parents; and brother, Gene Wright.
She is survived by husband, Joe Hart; sons, Robert McMahan & wife Robbie of Lorena, Sammy McMahan & wife Patti of Robinson; daughter, Diane Johnson and husband Jim of Denver, CO; sister, Norma Livingston of Waco; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
