He grew up in Joplin, Missouri and graduated from Memorial High School in 1975. Growing up Larry was an avid motocross competitor and won numerous awards. Larry was also an avid fisherman, fan of the Dallas Cowboys, cheered on his favorite Nascar driver, Jimmy Johnson, and had a love for Harley Davidson.

Larry and Lori’s first met in the 90’s, when he delivered fuel to the Bell Gas Station where she worked, causing him to be forever known as her “Gas Man”. They met again in April of 2008 at DJ’s (now MacDaddy’s) in Elm Mott and from that day forward were forever joined at the hip. They were united in marriage on October 22, 2010 and made their home together in Lacy-Lakeview.
Larry had friends from all walks of life and was loved by many. He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes. His laughter could always lift up anyone who was down. He loved passionately and wholeheartedly.

Lori and family,
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Larry. While we didn’t know him well, it was obvious from watching you
two from across the street that you were a great team and loved each other deeply. A couple of weekends ago we saw Larry walking slowly and cautiously outside while Lori had her arm around him so he could walk to the fence and watch their fur babies playing in the backyard. It is times like those that we pray keep a smile on your face and a warmth in your heart when you need it most.
God bless and may he Rest In Peace with no more pain.
