I just heard of Letha Lee’s death today from Georgie. I am so sorry. I had no idea. Part of moving away is that we lose touch with those we grew up with, played with, loved….
It is late now, so I will tell Mama (Janell) tomorrow. I remember Letha Lee was so quiet, and I always enjoyed seeing Melvin and the boys when they would come in to Wanda’s (Bluebonnet) when I moved back to Waco. Been gone from there for almost 30 years now.
You are all very missed, and you are all in my prayers. Know also that you are greatly loved.

I was very sadden to learn of Letha’s passing this morning from Melvin. I was her insurance agent, but more than that, she and I became friends. She was sick but would always start out the call by asking about my mother. Such a sweet and loving spirit. I am very glad I got to meet her, and Melvin I know you will be with her again some day and I will pray that God comfort you and your family during this difficult time.
George,
Judy and I are saddened to read about Letha. She would always ask how Judy was seeing how they shared the same birthday, November 13th. I know this is very hard on you, Brother, but you are in Judy’s and my prayers, Letha is in GOD’s hands. If there is anything we can do, don’t hesitate. We’re thinking of you and your family. GOD Bless Letha Lee.
