Lewis Titsworth was born on August 7, 1949, in Sunnyvale, Texas to Hattie Rene Ratliff and Edward Blackwell Titsworth. He worked at Rockwall Independent School District as a lead groundskeeper for many, many years. He married the love of his life, Susan Ann Termin, on August 11, 1972. They raised three daughters, Tonya Titsworth, Shellie Rudolph and Sindie Delong. Lewis had a passion for landscaping. He loved to make sure his grass was mowed, weed eated and green. He did not like someone else fiddling in his yard. He loved fishing, hunting, and hanging out with friends and family. He really was the guy that would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. Lewis never met a stranger. It didn’t matter if he was getting gas, having a beer at the local bar…he NEVER met a stranger. He loved his girls and all of his grandchildren. He just loved life.
Lewis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue; father, Edward; mother, Hattie; brothers, Edward and David; and sisters, Virginia, Nancy and Martha.
He is survived by his brother, Billy; daughters, Tonya Tisworth and husband, Oscar, of Magnolia, Shellie Rudolph and husband, Jason, of China Spring, and Sindie Delong and husband, Bobby, of Whitney; bonus children, Tammy and husband, Michael and Dusty and husband, David; eight grandchildren, Shayanne, Triston, Justyn, Sierra, Cheyenne, Caitlyn, Zoey and Olivia and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
