Linda Lou Kroll, 76, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.
Visitation: 6-8 PM, Saturday, Feb. 18 at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Sunday, Feb. 19 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Larry Krueger officiating.
Burial: China Spring Cemetery.
Linda was born October 9, 1940 in Big Hill, Texas to Julius Malcolm and Ollie Lillian (Vanek) McDaniel. Shortly after graduating from Mart High School she married Walter H. Kroll on August 8, 1959. They had two sons, Darrell and Steve. Linda worked as a bookkeeper for Schroeder Building Co. and also at EOAC. Her church membership was at St. Paul Lutheran.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raydell, Jerry and Bobby Joe McDaniel; sister-in-law, Mary Kroll; and brothers-in-law, Vernon Kroll, Louis Kroll and wife, Janet, Nick Komar, Gene Nelson, and Edward Bennett.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Walter Kroll; sons, Darrell Kroll and Jill Kroll, Steve Kroll and wife, Micah; granddaughters, Alissa Plummer and husband, James, Karissa and Judy Kroll; grandsons, BC Kroll and Kelly Kroll; great-grandsons, Landon and Owen Plummer and Isaac; sisters, Darlene Komar, Judy Tittle and husband, Woody and Jane Nix; sisters-in-law, Rawlene McDaniel, Brenda McDaniel, Linda Kroll, Gladys Heath and husband, Bobby, Dorothy Nelson; Alice Bennett; and brothers-in-law, Harold Kroll and wife, Susan, Edward Kroll, Charles Kroll and wife, Ella Mae.
Pallbearers will be BC Kroll, Kelly Kroll, Ronnie Kroll, Todd Kroll, Lee Kroll and Bubba Bennett.
The family would like to offer a special word of gratitude to the 3rd floor staff of Providence Hospital as well as the nurses at Providence Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
