Lisa Harrison, 46, of Waco, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016.
Funeral Services: 2PM Wednesday, January 20th, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hooker officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery.
No visitation is planned.
Lisa was born on August 11, 1969 in Portland, OR. Lisa and Troy met while serving with the China Spring Volunteer Fire Department and they were married on August 20, 1999. They were very much devoted to each other. She was also a very loving and devoted mother. Lisa was very detailed oriented, taking care of everything.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Walker; and stepfather, Carl Walker.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Troy Harrison; son, James “J.T.” Harrison; father, Robert Evans of Portland, OR: brother, Jeff Walker and wife Rae of Pflugerville; sister, Linda Brown and husband Rory of Washington; eight nephews; and mother in law, Pinky Burt.

Lisa was a kind, patient, funny and sweet friend/co-worker. I have truly enjoyed working with her and being able to talk to her about life. I am saddened that she is no longer here but find hope that she is at rest in the arms of her Creator. My condolences to her family. I am praying for peace and hope for you all.
only knew Lisa when she was a child.. all our kids grew up together. Sorry for your loss. Sorry to hear the news. Remember she is in a better place, and not suffering from whatever was bothering her. Take care of the family. An old friend from way back in Portland.
I worked with Lisa several years ago and she was so sweet and always talked about her son, she absolutely adored him. My heart is very heavy to hear of her passing. My prayers are with her son and family. No words can take away your pain, but I pray God wraps you in his arms and brings you some comfort in the days, weeks and years ahead. I am a co-worker of Lisa’s, but being from different departments, we only knew each other in passing hellos. She was always smiling and sweet! I heard only good things from those who knew her well. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and pray God’s love, peace and healing be upon you.
I was sadden to hear of Lisa passing. She was a real caring person.She and I attended EMS classes and she was was

My heart was very sad to hear of the loss of another friend and co-worker. Lisa was a joy to work with and would always stop by my desk for a quick chat . May her family know that she was loved and cherished by friends. God wrap his wings around her family and be with them during this difficult time.
I too worked with Lisa a few years back. She was a ray of sunshine, always there when you needed her. Always willing to go above and beyond. She truly will be missed. Lisa was a wonderful co worker. She was such a kind and caring person who always had a smile on her face. She always talked about her son JT and I know she adored him. I pray for peace and understanding during this difficult time. Lisa will truly be missed.
I have been friends and a coworker of Lisa’s for years. Loved her like a sister, she was a blessing and is already missed. Prayers for the family that they can get through the grief and be able to get to some kind of normal. She will always be with you in your heart and will be in mine.
