Logan Walker, 36, a life-time resident of Lingleville, left this world about daybreak Sunday, August 23, 2020.
Celebration of Life Service: 2PM Saturday, August 29 at Cowboy Church of Erath County.
Logan Kyle Walker, eldest son to Jeff and Lynn Walker, was born February 12, 1984 in Fort Worth. He attended schools at Lingleville and then attended Weatherford College. Logan enjoyed hunting and had a lifelong passion for roping. Even though Logan was dealt a bad hand- he played it better than any of us would have if we were in his boots. Logan was the center of his family’s world. His personality and his big smile were bigger than the Texas sky. Without a doubt, Logan Walker will be sorely missed by many.
Logan was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, J.L. and Bobbie Walker, and Jaybo and Rusty Hinyub.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Lynn Walker, brother, Whit Walker and wife Kristen; nephews, Lane and Jett; and aunt, Robbie Waltemeyer and husband Dennis; and many friends.
The family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at UT Southwest in Dallas for their professional care and concern for Logan and family.
Logan had his way in the end- he chose to come home and end treatment. He was strong to the end. We as a family respect his decision and he has our blessings so we could all be at peace. We will miss him so much!
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.
Many prayers for y’all. So sorry for your loss.
My brother Jeremy Lopez & I went to school with Logan up until our junior high year. Logan was the most sweetest, most caring, big hearted person & had a smile that lit up a room. You will definitely be missed & loved by us & others. So sorry for your loss Walker family. Keeping y’all in our thoughts and prayers.

From experience: Mourning never ends but grief eventually passes. Happy memories will remain and slowly reduce the pain.
I think of Logan whizzing around school on that scooter and later running around Lingleville in the golf cart, his friends clustering around him at ball games, his deer trophy photos on Facebook, his puppies for sale, his passionate posts for President Trump. He lived his life fully on his own terms.
I can’t begin to imagine your grief, but I hope it helps to know how many of us will also grieve and remember.
Logan was my roommate in college and grew into my brother. He showed me strength and courage that I never knew. My prayers go out to Jeff, Lynn and Whit. Fly high brother. Good Ride Cowboy!
So sorry for your loss.
Whit, I wish you and your family strength and peace during this hard time.
