Lynda Charlene Love, 70, of Lorena, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
Memorial Service: 10:30am, Thursday, September 12, 2019, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, in Robinson.
Lynda started her career as a Drapery Maker at Reese Interiors, which later turned into her own shop, Lynda’s Draperies. She worked for many years at the Fabric Shoppe, as well, and retired when the store closed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Love; parents, Howard and Veta Maye (West) Woodard; and great-grandson, Kayson.
Lynda is survived by her children, Peggy Wilkerson and husband, David, Barbara Markwardt, and Odis Markwardt, Jr.; boyfriend, Tommy Harvey; twin sister, Glenda Hitcher; sister, Barbara Rowse and husband, Bob; brothers, Larry Woodard and wife, Judy and Leslie Woodard and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Jennifer, Sarha, Matthew, Calub, Brayden, Brandon, Tyler, and Jenna; great-granddaughter, Ami; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

We are so sorry she was an awesome person she could do just about anything. She loved helping others and having a servant heart.
Oh how we miss you! You tried to hold us all together for years and supported whatever we did, especially when you felt it was right. I love you mom. Please keep an eye over Barbie’s shoulder. She is lost without you.
My grandmother was a caregiver. She took care of numerous people in our family, myself included. Thank you Meme for the great childhood and I wish we had been closer in my adult life. I am sorry to see you go and I know that our family will be the lesser without you.

I look around my house and I see Linda everywhere, either in drapes she hung with George or ones she made, to please my taste. She was so talented and giving.

Praying for the family! I met Lynda while working at my father’s Veterinarian office. She brought so many animals throughout the years and definitely was a caregiver! 🙂
I never got the chance to meet you although I have met your daughter and I know that if she’s anything like you you are a great woman I’m just sorry that I didn’t get the chance to meet you while you were here
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lynda was a wonderful person. I loved her cookies and pretty much anything she made for church. She did so much for the church, Shepards Heart, and her family. She will be missed by all. I pray peace and comfort for each of you.
