M. Clarice Hoerster, 98, of Waco, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024.
Memorial Service: 10AM Monday, November 18 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel
Born January 6, 1926, in Mason, Texas, to Earl L. Waller and Alpha Bell Pike, Clarice led a life full of love and dedication. She worked as an office manager at Gabriel’s Department Store, where her professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression.
Clarice was raised in the Methodist faith, but most recently attended Highland Baptist Church. Her passion for the arts led her to attend ASU art classes and become an active member of the Art Club in San Angelo, TX. She also cherished her time with the Bridge Club and Riverside Golf Club, where she made many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl L. Waller and Alpha Bell Waller; her sister, Gladys Camp; and nephew, Kell Camp.
Survivors include her daughter, Christin C. Calhoun; granddaughter, Crystal D. Bradburn (Jeff); grandson, Jeremiah Holubec; great-grandchildren, Taylar Fulton (Avery), Riley Bradburn and Brayden Holubec; great-great grandchildren, Laura Jane Fulton, and Foster Fulton; nephew, Jack Camp; and first cousin, Floyd Waller, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Methodist Children’s Home in Waco in Clarice’s memory.
