Margie Lue Hardy, 81, of Cranfills Gap, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2016.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Hallsburg Baptist Church, 1195 Wilbanks Dr., Hallsburg, Texas.
Maggie was born on July 13, 1935 in Waco. Maggie was a waitress most of her life. She also owned Maggie’s for several years. Maggie was a loving and caring person. She married James Hardy on December 31, 1987.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Katherine Perry.
Maggie is survived by her husband, James Hardy; sons, Benny Rushin, Donald Rushin and wife, Christina; stepsons, Jody Hardy and wife, Patricia, and Jamie Hardy; stepdaughters, Elizabeth Waller, and Angela Rodgers; stepson, Robert Hardy and wife, Cyndie; son-in-law, Pete Perry; half sister, Elizabeth Simons; and many grandchildren.
