Manuel Humberto De La Garza, 86, of Waco, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2022 at his residence.
Visitation and viewing: Noon to 2PM Wednesday, March 2 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
A 2:30 graveside service will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Manuel De La Garza was born July 11, 1935 to Santos and Victoria (Elizondo) De La Garza. He married Albesa “Bessie” Escamilla and together they had a son and daughter. He was great family man, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Albesa De La Garza; and siblings, Lilia Flores, Rebeca Ochoa, Aracelia Garza, Luisa Perez, Jose Santos De La Garza, and Juan De La Garza.
He is survived by his son, Bert De La Garza and wife Laura; daughter, Yolanda Rodriguez and husband Juan; two grandsons, Adam De La Garza and wife Sophie, and Ryan De La Garza; two granddaughters, Wendy Linkous and husband Calvin, and Megan Frausto and husband Junior; great-grandchildren, Hunter Linkous, Gunner Linkous, Madison De La Garza, Mason De La Garza, Maylee De La Garza, Morgan De La Garza, Amarylis Frausto, Kinzlee Frausto, and Juan Frausto, III.
