Margaret Ervin Butler, age 80, of Waco, Texas, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021.
Service Information: Visitation is Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 from 6:00- 8:00 pm at Lake Shore Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Saturday at 10:00 am at the Doris Miller Memorial Park.
Margaret was born October 7, 1940 to Flossie and Nathaniel Ervin in Waco, Texas.
She was a 1958 graduate of A.J. Moore High School. Margaret was a people person who never met a stranger. She loved talking to people and was always the life of the party.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted children; Robin Ervin, Alonzo (Tammy) Butler, Bronshe’ (Kerrie) Butler and Felicia (Von) Gladden; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Robin and family, your mom always showed me such love even when I was a little girl. Although we were distance cousins, she treated me with family love. She treated everyone as if she as so glad to see them. May God bless you with comfort as you go on without her.

Robin and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was the sweetest lady, I worked with her at Providence and her caring compassionate attitude caused me to fall in love with her. Robin, I knew her before you were born and you were the apple of her eye. Later I heard her speak fondly of Bronshe’. She was loved by many and loved many, she will be missed. May God provide you comfort during this difficult time.
