I offer my heartfelt sympathy to Martha’s family. I hope the kind thoughts of her many friends old (we went to Connaly High School together)and new will make the grief a little easier to bear. Her cheerfulness & light will be missed by all. Loved our talks by the pool.
I grew up down the street from the Jones family. All four kids babysat my brother and I at some point or another, but Martha and Bev continued to help take care of us all the up thru junior high. Bev and Martha could have been twins with their smile and joy and their sweet little voices and especially their love for others and selflessness. Billie and her sweet children have always been such a blessing to me and my family. Love you all dearly.
My love and prayers to all of the Johnson family. Martha and I searched for property until we found the perfect place for them to move to in Texas. I was their realtor, but most of all they were my friends. Angie Johnston, ERA , Amarillo Texas
All of you are in my thoughts.
Dear sweet Martha….my best friend all thru school and was in my wedding and was one friend that I kept in touch with since graduating in 1980. Martha and I were in drill team together, we had so much fun, when my boys were born I often thought of Martha, because of the color of her hair, my boys had the platinum blonde also. Martha you will truly be missed by so many people.

I went to high school with Martha and just wanted to say that my thoughts and prayers are with all her family. Her bright and bubbly personality is what I remember most. Just seeing her smiling face would make you smile in return, no matter what your mood. She will truly be missed.
I tried so hard to find the right words to say. Only one kept coming to mind – angel. Rest in peace.
There is no words to express the feelings of losing such a wonderful person. There are many great memories, like the lipstick kisses we got everytime we saw you. You were a great joy to be around and you loved to be around family. You will forever be loved and missed. Love,
Laura and Logan.
Martha has touched my life in so many ways. There are no words that will truely express how great of a person she was. She will always be in my heart and one day will we sit in heaven together!
What can I say? Simple words cannot express the dearness Martha meant to all who knew her. The radiant smile and lilting laughter will be with us forever. That twinkle in her eye will remain as a memory, making each person who holds it close a much better person. Martha was, still is, and will always be, the epitome of love.
To the Johnson and Jones families, I am so very sorry for the tragic loss of Martha. In high school, I remember Martha as one of the sweetest and kindest persons. She was always smiling and so genuinely kind. My belief is that she carried these same characteristics through her life as she became a mother and grandmother. Our prayers are with all of you as you mourn the loss of Martha.
I cannot believe that Martha is gone. She was such a wonderful person that I had the priviledge of going to Connally with. The thing I will miss the most about her is her warm smile! She is truly going to be missed but heaven has rcvd a bright and beautiful angel. Beverly and Billie I am so sorry for your loss. I can only wish that god wraps his arms around you and comfort you in your time of loss. My prayers go out to her family.
My Dear Sweet Friend Martha,
You were such a special person, so full of love and kindess. When people speak of you they remember that you were kind to everyone. I remember all the fun and friendship. No matter how many years and distance seperated us, we could connect and feel like it was just yesterday that we saw each other. You raised a beautiful family! What a wonderful mother and grandmother you were. You have left children that have your heart — which is a blessing to the world. We will miss you, but you will live on in our hearts.
Dear sweet family, I regret that prior commitments have kept me from being there with you today. Know that you are loved and prayed for this day and the days to come.
What can I say that only time can heal? Know that your family and especially you, Bev are in my prayers.
Love you!
Billie Jean, my heart goes out to you in this tragic loss. I pray that God will surround you with his love.
Martha was a very special person. She could light up a room and take care of business. I will truly miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Patti
