Mary Stimmell, of Waco, formerly of Mather, Pennsylvania, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ramiro Pena officiating. Interment will follow at the Bosqueville Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 30th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.
Mary was born May 1, 1940 to David and Mary Evans, in Whitehaven, England. She was a loving wife, mother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett

aunt mary i will remember you with such fondness and love but i will also remember you for being one very gutsy lady who at times could be awkward but that was the best in you and on my last visit we had the best conversations so god be with you say hi to gran and eck but dont you three give them to much trouble

A wonderful friend over m any years, I will miss her. I taught her to drive, and we have a lot of "History". Mary was a "one of a kind" person, a good friend no matter where either of us lived. She has a wonderful family, and I know they will miss her. Thank you, Harold, for giving those wonderful years to her.

On May 1st, Mary would have turned seven decades plus one. It will be a day we will celebrate her life, as she believed in living your life to the fullest. She will live in her hearts forever.
Hal I am so glad to have finally met you. Mary has told me so much about you over the last few months and I could see it was all true. You have my deepest sympathy in your loss, she could not have spent her last few years with a nicer man. Cherish her memory as I do. her loving sister in law of 45 years.
