Michael Jeffrey Swindall, 34, of Waco, passed away Monday, May 13.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Michael Jeffrey Swindall was born August 30, 1984 to Michael Blanton and Monica Lee Swindall at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco, Texas.
Michael Jeffrey, more commonly known as Jeffrey, attended Connally ISD where he began building meaningful friendships with other students that would eventually become lifelong relationships. In 2002, Jeffrey graduated from Connally High School where he paved the way, through his example, for his younger brothers Kenneth and David. Jeffrey adored his sister April Nicole and cherished every moment with his family and close friends.
Over the years, Jeffrey enjoyed intimate family time in the back yard, fishing trips, swimming at the lake and local pools, watching movies and the occasional video game battles between his brothers and friends.
Jeffrey grew into a phenomenal man as he began building his family and forming traditions/experiences similar to those provided to him by his loving and devoted parents Michael B. and Monica. Although Jeffrey was a man of few words, his heart and compassion for others exceeded that of one’s imagination. Three of the crowning experiences of his life where the birth of his two sons Isaiah and Braxton, and his relationship with Charity Chapman of over 13 years.
Jeffrey understood the importance of faith and his relationship with God. He united with New Beginnings Christian Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Charles Howard. During his membership, Jeffrey grew in his faith and the discipline of the Word of God. The power of his relationship with God was evident in the many relationships he developed and how each were uniquely impacted by his presence and influence.
In 2017, Jeffrey graduated from OG’s Barber School in Killeen, Texas and began his career as a barber at Waco Fades. He envisioned a day when he would branch out and open his own barbershop. In his leisure moments, Jeffrey would spend his time listening to music, producing music, watching sports games with family and friends (especially the Dallas Cowboys), working up his culinary magic in the kitchen, and coaching with Braxton’s various sports teams.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Florence Garcia and Elias DeLeon, Blanton Henry “Paw Paw Skeeter” and Opal Swindall and uncle, Carlos Francisco “Uncle Charlie” Garcia.
Michael Jeffrey leaves to cherish his memory and legacy two devoted and beloved parents Michael and Monica Swindall; sister, April Nicole Pullen (Terry Pullen); brothers, Kenneth Swindall and David Swindall (Katie Swindall); sister, Mary Charlene Brewer (Dale Brewer); a loving spouse, Charity Chapman; sons, Isaiah Miguel Swindall, Braxton Kye Swindall; daughters, Alyssa Cruz, Tiresa Cruz, and Juliana Chapman; nephews, Trent Pullen, David Jr. (DJ) Swindall, Jayce Swindall, Jayden Swindall and Robert Lane Owens; niece, Zoey Rose Swindall and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and close friends.

Many happy memories of him be with you all, and I hope that these Bible promises comfort you as much as they have me, because Jehovah is the God of all comfort. “Do not be anxious…..but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” Isaiah 26:4; Philippians 4:6-7 NWT.
