Condolence Messages

  1. Dear Lori and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. May God, your faith, and your memories comfort you at this time.
    Love, Janet

  2. Mrs. Allen,

It is with the heaviest heart that I offer my condolences to you and your family.

I remember SSgt Allen mostly as a mentor. As someone, who I could turn to whenever I needed advice on just about anything. He was always smiling and always knew how to get a good laugh out of me.

As a Marine, he was someone that I aspired to be like. Marines like SSgt Allen don’t grow on trees. He truly was the embodiment of everything that the Marine Corps stands for.

I, as well as the Marine Corps, will truly miss him.

  3. Nan (Loucks) Goode, LPN

    Lori and family,
May you lean on the everlasting arms and be upheld during these trying times. I will always remember Mike’s smiling face, his love of God, family and country. May you have a limitless supply of wonderful memories to uphold you until you two are together again. God bless you and your family. Nan (Loucks-DeLancey) Goode, formerly of York, PA

  4. HMC(FMF) Greg Harris

SSgt Allen, you will be missed my brother! I will always cherish the times that we sat around in the field or at work talking about careers after the military. You will always be my brother! Miss you! Thank you Lori for welcoming me into your house like a family member. Love you guys!

  5. I have many fond memories of Mike and Lori when they lived in PA . Having met Lori shortly after marrying Mike at our work place, we became friends there and outside of the office. Mike was a truly wonderful man and husband as well as a father. At one time, my step-son, Scott, met Mike while they both served in the Marine Corp. I am so glad that I got to see most of the family on their trip back to PA earlier this year when Lori’s father passed away. He is in heaven with our Lord and will continue to look after his family. May you find comfort and peace knowing Mike had a wonderful life. He will be greatly missed as he made the world a better place for us all.

I’m extremely sorry for your lost Mike helped me in truck driving school. He was and always be a great friend

  7. Lori, I was praying for Mike ever since I heard he was so sick. I am continuing to keep everyone in my prayers. I don’t remember what we were doing at Bonita’s and Ron’s only that we were having so much fun playing a game you brought. I can still see Mike laughing at himself and us when we read the clues. I’m glad I had the pleasure to be in his company. Will be thinking of you at these times.

  11. Gabrielle & Alonzo Marable

Allen family we are with you all in spirit. You all were such a great blessing to us in our time of need! Definitely one of the nicest family’s we’ve come across throughout the years Alonzo served the Marine Corps. Mike was truly a genuine man and had a huge heart, we are deeply saddened by his passing but at the same time joyous and hopeful that he has gained everlasting peace, joy, and love with our Father in heaven. We thank you for the opportunity of welcoming us into your family and the opportunity for coming into acquaintance with such a blessed soul like Mike….It’s upsetting to think on how we should’ve kept better contact with you all having missed everything, we could have shown more support. Though we’ve grown estranged the past few years we ALWAYS reminisce about you all and the hospitality, love, and support you guys gave……Peace and Lord above with you always! Time will heal all wounds, just keep on living!

    Forever in our hearts
    The Marable Family
