Myra Jean Shinkle, 89, of Belton, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016. She is survived by husband, Jim Shinkle; son, Ron Shinkle and his wife Sue; two grandchildren, Steve and Jeff.
Myra’s family would like to thank Scott & White Hospital for the wonderful care given to her during her illness.

My Aunt Jean was a wonderful, fun person who meant quite a lot to me. Although we hadn’t seen each other in
quite some time, I always knew she was there. My life was truly enhanced by her presence. Jean, you will be
sorely missed!
Jean, my most precious friend, how I praise Christ that you are out of pain! You asked me the last time we talked “how much longer do you want me to live?” It was not long enough at that time and it still is not long enough now 🙂 Love you with all of my heart, Jean. Jesus sent you to me at the lowest time of my life and both of you brought light and joy into my life. I will see you see you soon enough, precious Jean, and we can dance and play in heaven!!
