The Christmas season is a time for making memories, building traditions, spending time with friends and family, and, most importantly, remembering and celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
This year, several of our local churches have joined together to provide a unique setting for you to experience the joy of that first Christmas night in Bethlehem. When:
On Saturday evening, December 9, between 6 – 8:30, a Live Nativity will be presented, outside, on the grounds of Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend. Step out of your car and witness the Christmas story come to life, as you view dramatic venues of the birth of Christ – a re-creation of the beloved nativity scene.
The church families of First Baptist, Gholson; Parkview Baptist; Bible Way; China Spring United Methodist; and St. Francis Catholic all invite your family to join them for this free community presentation. Watch the story unfold and then stay and enjoy hot cocoa and Christmas cookies in the hospitality tent.
