Nicci Shotwell Boughton, 72, of China Spring, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at her residence. Graveside services will be 3PM Friday, September 18, 2009 at China Spring Cemetery with Rev. Jim Daniels and Rev. Ivan Ker officiating. Visitation will be 11AM to 1PM Friday at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend , Waco. Survivors include husband, Bruce Boughton; daughters, Lorie Peebles, Linda Bergenstock, and Brandi Cartwright; sons, Michael Boughton, Marcus Boughton, Joe Mac Shotwell, and Neil Shotwell; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.

Your family is in our prayers. Nicci was such a wonderful lady and hard worker. She waitressed for us at Tradinghouse Bar & Grill when we owned it. We could always count on her to be there and did a fantastic job. As the years have passed, we would often run into her at Wal-Mart and conversed. Thank you, Nicci, for being a part of our lives. We know you are in heaven as you were a blessing to us!
