Ollie Jerry Brem, 68, of Valley Mills, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 2pm, Monday, June 9th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Larson officiating.
INTERMENT: Wortham Bend Cemetery, China Spring, Texas
Ollie J. Brem, 68, of Valley Mills, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014, at his residence. Visitation is from 6-8pm, Sunday, June 8th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr., Waco. Funeral Services will be at 2pm, Monday, June 9th at Lake Shore Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Larson officiating. Burial will follow at Wortham Bend Cemetery in China Spring.
Ollie was born July 31, 1945 to Eddie and Pauline (Kruze) Brem in Tours. He married Deborah Ann Smith on June 3, 1967, and together they shared 47 years of marriage. During his lifetime, Ollie owned and operated Brem’s Fence Co. for nearly 30 years, retiring in 1998. After retirement, he worked full-time as a farmer and rancher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Pauline Brem; and one brother, Elmer Brem.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah A. Brem of Valley Mills; two sons, Ronald Ray Brem and wife Laura of Valley Mills, and Richard Dale Brem and Lori Love of China Spring; one daughter, Rebecca Lee Ballard and husband Jeremiah of Valley Mills; three brothers, Edward Brem and wife, Billie Dean, of Waco, Marvin Brem and wife Barbara of Waco, and Herbert Brem and wife Edith of West; sister-in-law, Lanelle Brem of Lorena; four grandsons; three granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter on the way.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brem, Ricky Brem, Kyle Brem, Bradley Brem, Charlie White, and Jeremiah Ballard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack McCrary, Ed Brem, Marvin Brem, Herbert Brem, Ronnie Symank, and Ed Peters.
Memorials may be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Research or Providence Hospice.

I am so sorry to hear of Ollie’s passing. He was my cousin that I remember most as a child since he and I were very close in age. I remember him as being very sweet and polite. I know you all will miss him greatly!
My prayers are with the Brem family at this time of loss. Ollie was my patient for some time, he will be missed greatly. I remember him saying often “Crystal, now I’m all right” I still have a voice mail I keep from him. He was a dear patient to me. May the wonderful memories you so cherish comfort each one of you.
