Born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I grew up around the funeral industry from a young age. I began as a teenager playing music at gravesides and by the time I graduated high school, I knew what I wanted to do. I received my Associates of Applied Science degree from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 2006 and received my Funeral Director & Embalmer licenses in 2007. I served my apprenticeship at Gonzalez Funeral Home of Dallas. In 2010, I served as an embalmer for Global Mortuary Affairs and was Director of Operations from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, I served as a Funeral Director and Embalmer for Corley Funeral Home in Corsicana and in 2018, I served as the CEO of DFW Mortuary in the Dallas area. At the beginning of 2022, I accepted a position as Crematory Manager and Care Center Manager for Lake Shore Funeral Home and Crematory.
I am married to my wife, Sandra Hahn-Escamilla, and together we have two daughters, Zoey and Dakota. We are members of Believer’s Bible Church of Corsicana where I serve on the worship team and lead the worship music for our church’s Celebrate Recovery group. I am a member of the Corsicana Masonic Lodge #174 where I served as Worshipful Master from 2018 to 2019.
We are blessed to be a part of the Lake Shore Funeral Home family and to call Waco our new home. We hope to become active in this great community and the warm welcome we have received is beyond words.
