Pamela Watkins

Pamela Watkins, of Bellmead, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015. A Memorial Service will be 2 PM Thursday, July 2nd at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel located at 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco, with Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Thoughts and memories may be shared at www.LakeShoreFH.com.

Pamela was born on December 27, 1952 in Waco to David and Nora (Ensley) Harper. She attended Waco schools and worked at Owen Illinois and Empire Seed Company.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Blanche Streeby and Jane Melville; and brothers, Terry Harper and Steve Harper.

Survivors include husband of nine years, James Watkins of Bellmead; son, Roland “JJ” Armstrong of Waco; daughters, Terry Emmon of Lorena, Casey Brisco of Blanco, and Tammy Craig of Georgetown; brother, David Harper, Jr. of Waco, Paul Harper of Kosse; sisters, Jean Warner of IA, Sue Dolega of IL, and Gwen Motley of Waco; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and all of her pets.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made Central Texas Humane Society.

  4. Oh My Gosh! I have always remembered Pam from when we were young teenagers in Waco, I would visit my Grandma Butler in the summer and Christmas break and I met Pam and her family! we had so much fun! She has been on my mind the past few months and I didn’t know how to find her, since most of my relatives Grandparents, Aunts have passed away, until David Berry contacted me through a cousin Sharon Roberts, and I happened to ask him last night did he know The Harpers… Pam you were still the dark haie=red freckled faced girl I remember and I so wish I had tried sooner to contact you… Looks like you had a wonderful life and loved animals as I do.. Rest in Peace your childhood friend Sandy Butler Lewis
