Pascual “Julian” Torres, 65, of Waco, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.
There will be a Visitation 6:30 to 8:00 PM Friday, December 17 at Lake Shore Funeral Home 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.
Julian “Jules” was born August 17, 1956 to Pascual Torres and Julia Palacios Torres. He worked for Brothers Management Company as a maintenance supervisor for 36 years. He loved working and never gave up. Julian enjoyed fishing, collecting old cars, going to the casino, and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by father, Pascual Torres; mother, Julia Palacios Torres; uncle, Jesse Palacios; brothers, Mike Torres, Ruben Torres, Joe Torres, and Jesse Torres; great nephew, Victor “ Ezekiel” Garza , all of Waco, and niece Raquel Marie Gunnells of Minnesota.
Julian is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Darlene Torres; son, Meko Torres and wife Lacy Torres; son, Ruben James Torres and wife Athena Torres; daughter, Julia Torres and fiancé Isaac Olivarez; daughter, Tina Torres; brother, Robert Torres and wife Melissa Torres; sister, Rose Marie T Wise and husband David J Wise; sisters, Carmen Torres, Margie Nawara and husband Roger all of Waco; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny Miller, Sr., Danny Miller, Jr., Victor Aguilar, Andrue Torres, Ruben James Torres, Jr., Jacob Peña, David Torres, and Jayson Torres
Honorary Pallbearers are Meko Torres, Ruben James Torres, Sr., Johnny Hatfield, Eryk Olivarez, Brady Torres and Jayce Salazar.

I never have known a more giving and helping man than Julian. He was a great father , husband to my wonderful strong sister Darlene. I have many great memories and I will hold them dear to my heart. Jewels hold on to Jesus till we see you again

Oh my am at a loss of words
Just not enough words to describe the feeling of losing such a great man in life,always standing up as well as to help in any way possible
Oh my LORD how can we realy believe he is gone ?
Many many years ago Jules taught me all about maint and was responsible for my many years as maint tech!
All his children can be so proud of having such a great dad to form there responsibility In life and be proud of there works.
Can in no way able to say goodbye to such a great man because Jules you will always be with us in our hearts .
So many things to be reminded of you from each time a fish is caught to even looking or talking to his loving card playing wife Darlene (who he addored as his partner in all of life)
Any way Jules not to say good bye but just to say carry on with helping JESUS my dear friend .💚
