Pat graduated from Lorena High School with honors and attended Texas Women’s University in Denton. Pat Retired from the Texas Department of Human Services. Pat was a “princess”, intelligent, witty, creative, and beautiful. She was a city girl born in the country. Pat was athletic, a great cook, and an avid gardener always having too many plants everywhere inside and out. She loved boating, skiing, fishing and was an excellent marksman with a rifle. Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother, a wise and playful aunt, a loving sister, a fun cousin, and faithful friend. All who knew her were blessed. The light of God shined through her eyes when she smiled. She will be greatly missed.

Pat was preceded in death by maternal grandparents James F. Walter and Ollie Mitchell Walter; and paternal grandparents Gustav Frank Schwartinsky and Mary Schwartinksy (Grossmama and Grosspapa).

She is survived by one son, Terry Holder of Elm Mott, Texas; two grandsons, Patrick Holder and wife Jacquline of Georgia, and Jeremy Holder of Ft. Bliss, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Cassidy Holder McGehee and husband Justin McGehee of Lampasas, Texas; two Great-granddaughters, Haiden and Kendall McGehee of Lampasas, Texas; great-grandson, Landyn Holder of Georgia; two brothers, Alois Gene (Bubba) Schwartinsky of Liberty Hill, Texas and Ronald Schwartinsky of Waco, Tx; sister, Darlene Vise and husband Ted Vise of Elm Mott, Texas; six nephews, four nieces, six great-nephews, seven great-nieces, two great-great nieces and two (twin) great-great nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Special thanks to Bluebonnet Health Services/Hospice nurses and staff, especially Paula Frost, R.N., they are much more than nurses; and to Janice and Brittany Reynolds who helped stand watch in the “midnight hour;” And to Bruce Petty for his strong, gentle arm to help lift whatever she needed moved; and Sue Arnett for the many prayers and timely coffee breaks.

Memorials may be sent to New Harvest Fellowship, P O Box 446, Elm Mott, Texas 76640, Note: Pat’s Library & Pantry Project.
