Ralph A. Sancillo, Jr., 64, of Chalk Bluff, passed away Tuesday, February 17th at his residence.
Funeral Service: 2PM Monday, February 23rd at Church of the Open Door. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Viewing and Visitation: 11AM to 2PM Monday, February 23rd at Church of the Open Door.
Ralph was born on October 11, 1950 in Waco to Ralph Sancillo, Sr. and Annie (Garcia) Sancillo. He graduated from Waco High School. Shortly thereafter, he was drafted to serve in the U.S. Air Force. He was honorably discharged after 3 1/2 years. Later, he returned to Waco and worked at numerous jobs until he decided to go back to school at TSTI, where he graduated with a Master Electrician degree. He then started his own business, Sancillo Electric. Ralph loved to travel and go boating with his wife and grandchildren. He and Wanda were loyal members of Church of the Open Door. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and servant of The Lord. Ralph was always there when anyone needed him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Annie Sancillo; brothers, Albert Sancillo and Micheal Sancillo; sisters, Olivia Sancillo, Yolando Sancillo, Sylvia Torres and Margaret Ann Sancillo.
Survivors include his loving wife, Wanda Sancillo; sons, Ralph Gregory Sancillo, and Corey Lanham and wife Beverly; four grandchildren, Brittany, Caitlin, Christen, and Blake; sisters, Christine Rodriguez and husband John, Ester Morales and husband Rudy; brother, George Sancillo; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He will be missed and forever be in our hearts.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at such a difficult time. Ralph was always so helpful and giving. We both worked with him at Trane. He will be greatly missed.

I remember Ralph from South Jr. High School, where he was a very nice and friendly young man. Always smiling and with a good sense of humor. My sympathy to his family and friends, the world is a little dimmer when God calls an Angel home .

My sincere condolences to all of Ralph’s family. He was our electrician for Texas Star Properties for about 13 years. He always had a smile on his face and it was such a joy working with him. I consider myself blessed to have known him. He was a man of honor and great character. My husband, Dr. Randall Smith, and I, will miss him dearly.
