Raymond Lee Ripley went to be with our Lord on Wednesday September 20, 2023 at the age of 61. Though our hearts are broken, we know he is whole and healed in the presence of God.

Raymond was born in Chicago Heights Illinois on December 6, 1961, to Kenneth Ray Ripley Sr and Frances Pauline Ripley. He was the youngest of four siblings. Raymond was a caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He would give you the shirt off of his back without having to be asked. He enjoyed barbecuing, camping and fishing with family and friends. He always had a joke and words of wisdom if you ever needed it.
Raymond was proceeded in death by his parents Kenneth Ray Ripley Sr. and Frances Pauline Ripley; his stepson Christopher Wayne Sharp; and his brother-in-law James Windham.
He is survived by his wife, Thelessa Sharp; siblings, Joyce Windham, Kenneth Ray Ripley, Jr. (Tessie Ripley), Carolyn Langford (Lowell Langford); children, Christopher Lee Ripley (Karissa Ripley) and Justin David Ripley (SaVanna Ripley); and grandchildren, Sebastian Lee Ripley, Elliot Lee Ripley, Melody Belle Estes, and Juniper Anne Ripley.
