Ramon was born February 5, 1932 in Hill County to Simon and Emelia (Vasquez) Vicenais. Ramon was a beloved husband, father, and much more. He lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his family. From a young age, he took on the responsibility of supporting his family, working tirelessly in the cotton fields and wherever he was needed. His strong work ethic and determination shaped his life and the lives of those around him.

In 1957, he married the love of his life, Florencia Jimenez, and together they built a beautiful family. They began the family tree being blessed with five children and the lineage spread from there with grandchildren, great grandchildren, and plus some. Mr. Vicenais took great pride in providing for them and ensuring they were always cared for. He spent many years working for Neely Sand and Gravel, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and retired after many years of dedicated service.

A pillar of the community, Raymond was known for his kindness, generosity, and the wisdom he shared with everyone he met. He was a man who welcomed strangers as friends and was always there to lend a listening ear or offer guidance. His legacy is one of love, support, and the profound impact he had on his family and whomever he came across. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Mr. Vicenais was preceded in death by his son, Ralph Vicenais; three brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include wife of 67 years, Florencia Vicenais; daughters, Dora Salazar, Lucy Vicenais, Rosa Campusano, and Rebecca Crespo; grandchildren, Michael Salazar, Emelia Salazar, Jamie McCutcheon, Ricardo Guajardo, Rosanna Sabido, Rafiella Guajardo, Raymond Guajardo, Roman Guajardo, Rebecca Dixon-Lopez, Dominic Villa, and Justin Crespo; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to Accent Care Home Health for their professional care and concern.

Ramon Vicenais will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit and the love he gave will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
