Renetta Raye Neyland, 82, passed away peacefully from this life into the next on Sunday, March 19, 2023. She was born October 13, 1940 to the late George Green and Opal Bell Lary in Arnett, TX, just outside of Gatesville.
Visitation: 12PM, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Moldbreakers Fellowship Church in Woodway. Service: 1PM, following the visitation with Pastor Tommy Frazier officiating. Interment will follow at China Spring Cemetery
Raye, or Granny, held various jobs throughout her life, making many friends, some of whom became family. Granny loved trail riding, barrel racing, and going to rodeos. She passed these loves along to her granddaughter.
Raye was preceded in death by her parents; husband of almost 63 years, OB Neyland; sister, Patricia Eubank; brother, Weldon Lary.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Donald Wayne Neyland and wife Melissa of Daisetta, James Randall Neyland and wife Cheryl of China Spring, and Terry Lynn Neyland of Laredo; daughter-in-law, Margaret Castleman; grandchildren, Rebekah Rardin and fiancé Brandon Perew, TJ Neyland, and Candy Martin; great-grandchildren, Zoe and Bella Rardin; brother, Dickie Lary and wife Joyce; sister, Vickie Herring and husband Pat; special friends, Kathy and Alan Britt, and Lou and Kerry Gray; and a host of other friends and family, all of whom will miss her very much.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Lake Shore Village, Accent Care Hospice, and the members of Moldbreakers Fellowship church.

I am sadden to see this. I loved Raye. She cleaned house for me for many many years in the 90’s-2000
We had many great trail rides and long talks. She was a one of a kind special lady that would do anything for you. May you rest in peace now friend. See you soon one day.
