Rickey Dale Cargill, 57, of Gatesville, died Friday, September 28, 2018 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. A complete obituary is forthcoming.

Rickey was born March 14, 1961 in Waco. He grew up in Robinson and attended Robinson schools. He worked for Gene’s Tree Service with his father, Tommy, and later owned TLC Auto Sales. Rickey had recently moved to Gatesville.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Suzie) Cargill; Daughter Tara Ann Small and husband Jason; Mother Linda Broadway and husband Ronnie; Stepmother Ginger Cargill; Stepsons Chris Garza and Nick Garza; Grandchildren Connor Banas and Taylor Small; Step-Grandchildren Elexus Garza and Rae Garza; and his chihuahuas, Jake and Molly.
