Robert Graham, Jr. of Waco, passed away January 17, 2013. Cremation services by Lake Shore Funeral Home. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.

Robert was born June 26, 1925 to Robert and Elsie (Mayer) Graham in Brooklyn, NY. He was raised in Houston, Texas. Robert first served in the United States Army from 1943-1946, and again later served in the Air Force during the Korean War around 1950. Between the two times of service to our country, he attended and graduated from University of Houston, and later became a History Professor at the same University. Robert later became a professional photographer, working for UPI, and shooting photographs all over the world. In his later years, Robert enjoyed teaching a bible study class at Lorena Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Graham; his parents; a son, Tommy Tucker; and a grandson, Joel Dillenburg.

He is survived by a son, Bill Graham Tucker of Lorena; two daughters, Sherry Olar Nash and husband Jim of Lorena, and Kimberly Graham; five grandchildren, Lauren, Kristi, Leslie, Dana, and Brian; and one great-grand daughter, Abrielle.

    Robert as Bob Graham , was certainly a wonderful man and i use to remember him sharing stories with his grandson Joel who was my roommate and best friend and i always admired him for how young he look and how he took care of his self . To Kim and Sherry , Jim and the whole family just know Bob is in heaven and looking down on all of you and he has joined his wife and his grandson in heaven too and he is in a better place where there is no pain , no worries and your dad and grand dad will always be with all of you . I was so sad to hear about his passing from my friend Kim . i will always cherish the memories of this remarkable man he was a wonderful father , grand father … I love all of you still and i am so sorry for all of your lost of this remarkable man . I hope all of you still remember me .
