Robert Charles (Winkelmann) Wilson entered into rest on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012. A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Meier Settlement United Methodist Church located on the corner of Meier Settlement and 7 Mile Lane in Riesel. Officiating will be the Rev. Jerry Arthur.
Bob was born Aug. 9, 1959, in San Antonio, and several days later, was placed into the loving arms of his adoptive parents, William "Bill" and Ruth Zipperlen Winkelmann. He graduated from Riesel High School in 1977.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob is survived by his sister, Ruth Anne Schroeder and husband, Mike, of Riesel; and his nephews, Chris, Corey and Kyle Schroeder.
