I worked with Roger for about a year at Reed’s. Not only was he a pleasure to work with, I admired his open love of his wife and family. He was a good team member for Reed’s and a good friend- he will be missed.
Roger was a very kind gentleman. I always teased him about the price of stamps going up they must have given him a raise in his retirement check. Or the mail was late I had to wait till the next day to go to the bank. He always had time to talk and joke with me when he would deliver funeral flowers to Wilkinson Hatch Bailey. I would say rain, sleet, or snow the funeral home has to be delivered to. He always would laugh.
We worked with Roger at Westview Station. He was a wonderful co-worker and kind to everyone. We are praying for peace and comfort for the entire family. Blessings. George Moore & James Johnson
We are so shocked and sorry to hear about Roger.
We couldn’t have asked for a better neighbor. We will miss seeing him outside mowing his lawn, gardening, and grilling. He kept his yard so nice and did a good job painting his house. He was nice enough to loan us tools if we needed them and even gave us some vegetables from his garden. He was just a good guy. Praying for his wife and family.
