Romulo Franco, 81, of Waco, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 9, 2020 in Waco.

Romulo “Roy” Martinez Franco was born to Mr. Fernando Luis Franco and Mrs. Juanita Martinez on September 6, 1938 in Brownsville.
Roy was a long time resident of Waco, where he owned and operated the original “Mexico Lindo Restaurant” from 1975 to 1990. He then worked for Columbus Avenue Baptist Church until his retirement. Roy will be greatly missed.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Manuel, Benny “Benito”, Fernando “Luis” and Margarito “Mike”; sisters; Enriquetta “Carmen”, Oralia “Gloria”, Ophelia and Francisca “Frances”.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Nora Guerra Franco; daughters, Margueritte and husband, Antonio Zuniga and Ludivina “Edna” and husband, Jason Romero; brother, Jesus “Jesse” Franco and wife, Irene; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
