Rose “Rosie” Vasquez, 60, of Dallas, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020.
Service Information: Visitation will be 5-7PM Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Lake Shore Funeral Home. The Rosary will be streamed live at 7PM. Due to current COVID-19 mandate, limited seating will be available. For those who are unable to attend the service will be live streamed. Click Here to View the Live Stream. The burial will be Monday, November 30, 2020, at Oakwood Cemetery at 10:00AM.
Rosie was born, October 29, 1960 in Waco. She was a loving mother & grandmother to her children & grandchildren and a second mom to her nieces and nephews and to many others. Her love and kindness was unconditional. You knew you could call her house “home”. Rosie was devoted to her church, St. Augustine. She touched so many hearts and we will always have those memories to cherish.
She was preceded in death by her father, Seferino Vasquez; her brother, Richard Vasquez; her daughter, Micaela Rojas and her son, Anthony Rojas.
Rose is survived by her mother, Eva Deleon; son, Ramon Rojas and wife, Velina Lopez; daughter, Celina Rojas; sister, Rita Vasquez; brother, Frank Gregory Deleon; granddaughters, Allison and Adriana; Goddaughter, Aubrianna Lopez and many family members.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Lopez, V, Frank Gregory Deleon, John Perales, Roman Rodriguez, Jaime Vilarial, Adam Martinez, Damian Paredes and Joey Duron.
Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Lopez, VI and Tristan Lopez.

My deepest sympathy to all of Rosie’s loved ones. We were high school friends & kept in touch the past several years. I just learned of her passing, and will keep her family in my prayers for God’s comfort. Rosie was a lovely sweet person, & will be missed by many.
