Many years ago Aunt Ruth you opened your home to me while I was stationed nearby. I was many miles away from Connecticut and having family close by was a comfort. Your generosity during those years was never forgotten. Today it is comforting to know you are at peace in your eternal home with the Lord in paradise. My thoughts and prayers are with you Jessie and Heather.
    Blessings
    Andy

  7. Words cannot express the way that I feel about my grandmother.. she was truly an angel in my life and my family’s lives. I can’t imagine her not being on this Earth because she has been such a constant for all of my 27 years. She had a pure heart and a fiery spirit. I love you very much, Grandma, and I will miss you every day of my life.

  9. I worked with Ruth at Sears. I will never forget the time we all dressed up for Halloween and performed to Monster Mash. Ruth wore a scarey mask and played the music for us. We often talked about our families and she would just light up when talking about her daughters and grandkids. Ruth always remembered each one of us at the holidays, with a little something left on our desk. She is a very special friend. Heaven has another angel in Ruth. She will be missed.

Wow, words cannot began to describe how I felt about my sweet friend, Ms. Ruth, a beautiful woman. It was truly a blessing for me to have become acquainted with such a spirit. She was a very special friend to me, she always had a kind word for me and always encouraged me. Even after she left Sears, she would email me occasionally and I will truly miss that. Jessie, Heather, Jeff, Luke and Lindsay, even though I never met you, you were a part of my life as well, she talked about you guys all of the time, she was blessed to have such a lovely family and you are so blessed to have been loved by such a beautiful person. I will miss her dearly.

  11. Although I didn’t know Ruth long, I knew she was truly genuine. During Lindsay and Adam’s wedding festivities, I could tell she was so proud of her family. She was totally in awe of Averi. I know you will miss her kindness. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time
