Ruth Michael, 83, of Elm Mott, passed away Wednesday, August 10th.
Funeral Service: 10AM Tuesday, August 16th at First Baptist Church, Elm Mott with Rev. Jack Bodenhamer officiating. Burial will follow at White Rock Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8PM Monday, August 15th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.
Ruth was born January 16, 1933 in Haskell, OK to Jessie and Edna (Webster) Davis. On January 18, 1947 Ruth married John Ray Michael. She retired from Connally ISD and was a member of First Baptist Church, Elm Mott. Ruth’s family was her pride and joy and she cared for them first and foremost. She will be missed by all that loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. R. Michael; daughters, Kelly Michael Hawthorne and Linda Michael Stewart; great granddaughter, Tori Jeanette Prock; and brothers, Robert Davis and Jesse Davis.
Survivors include her children, Jeanette Prock , Larry Michael and wife Robi, Wayne Michael, Richard Michael and wife Patty, Terry Michael and wife Karen, and Julie Baker; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Miller and husband Buddy, Louise Ross, and Thomas Davis and wife Nelda and other family and friends.
Special thanks from the family to the administration and staff at West Rest Haven for the care they extended to their loved one.

Ms Ruth was such a sweet lady, I will always remember her smile and her hugs when attending FBCEM. She will be truly missed by so many. Sending love hugs and prayers for the family.
