Sallie D. Haliburton lovingly known as Little Sallie Daisy was born on January 16, 1935 in Waco, Texas to her parents Ruth Mae Lewis-Jackson and Ralph Hernandez who have both preceded her in death. Ms. Sallie had one sister, Mrs. Glorious Iglehart that preceded her in death as well has her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Charles A Haliburton Jr.
Sallie Daisy was educated in Waco School System. She worked at Baylor University in several departments for over 18 years and then for Durham Transportation with WISD for over 10 years.
Sallie Daisy was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle with their motorcycle club, the Road Runners Motorcycle Club of Waco, Texas.
Sallie Daisy leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Shirley Diana Harris of Carrollton and Barbara Belcher and husband, Mark of Waco; her son, Michael Plump and wife, Sheila Plump both of Waco; devoted granddaughter that she raised, Crystal Williams Myles and her husband, Robert Myles of Mesquite; a grandson she helped raise, Kevin L Harris Jr. and his wife, Sherreta Harris of Carrollton; grandson, Brandon Henderson, of Columbus, OH; granddaughter, Brittany Henderson, of Columbus, OH; great-grandchildren, Xavier Williams and wife, Preesha of The Colony, Xandria Williams of Lewisville, Michael Abney of Dallas, Antonette Ruth Harris of Waco, Deavon Terrell Harris, of Carrollton, Alyssa LeShea Harris of Carrolton, Anaiya Henderson of Columbus, OH, and Nalnai Henderson of Columbus, OH; two great-great-grandchildren, Alani Sky Williams and Aaliyah Sky Williams both of The Colony, and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephew and great great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
