Samantha Frances Babeu, 20, of China Spring, Texas, was taken to be with the Lord on Friday, June 8, at 10:54 p.m.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, June 14, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel at 6:30 p.m. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted and much appreciated through the Samantha Babeu Memorial Fund at Genco Federal Credit Union.
Samantha was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina on June 14, 1991, to Kimberly and Francis Babeu. She graduated from China Spring High School with a fiery passion for art in heart and a love for running in the soles of her feet. She continued her education at McLennan Community College.
She is preceded in death by her Grandfather Jim Bell. Samantha is survived by her parents Kimberly Babeu and Francis Babeu of China Spring, her siblings Tiffany Babeu, Joshua Babeu, and Elijah Babeu, her grandparents Raymond Babeu, Helen Babeu, and Beverly Bell, as well as many loved Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. The love that Samantha had for her family and friends will never be forgotten.
The family would like to especially thank the nurses and doctors at Providence who cared for her and for their tremendous support during this difficult time. Her life will live on through the people that received her organs and they hopefully will live a long life because of her generosity and kindness. Her beautiful shining soul will be remembered forever by everyone that was close to her.

Even though I wasn’t able to spend as much time with Samantha that I wanted to, we definitely made every minute count. From chillin’ in your room watching Pheanis and Ferb on the Disney Channel to talking about boy problems.
