The life of Samuel Stephen Carter has come to pass on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.
He was born in Biloxi, Mississippi and later moved to Waco when he was 5 years old. He spent the majority of his life in Central Texas. He lived life always on his own terms. Known as Steve or “Deadeye” for his skill on the pool table, he took up the trade of plumbing in 1969, becoming a licensed journeyman, and worked in a profession he loved for nearly 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Francis Carter; mother, Elizabeth Danner Ivey; step-father, Donald Ivey; and step-mother, Lilian Carter.
He is survived by his son, Stephen Carter; daughter, Stephanie Hite; his two sisters, Starrlynn Carter and Lorelei Carter; and two grandchildren, Jaeden Carter, and Remington Hite.
