I was good friends with Sandy years ago when we worked at the Vet Clinic together. We spent lots of time together with our dogs doing agility and basically forming a friendship. I have kept up her doings somewhat through others and have always wondered about her and was so happy to hear to of her new career. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and know she will be at peace now and will continue to help others (human or animal) whereever she is.
Although we had not seen Aunt Sandra, as my kids called her, much in recent years, we will miss her very much. One of our favorite memories of her is her famous cherry pie, a recipe she shared with me and which our family loves. I also have fond memories of Sandra and Victor’s "wedding by the pond" when our son John was less than a year old. Our memories of her are good ones and we will miss her.
