Sandra Kaye Jones Martin was born January 15, 1963, to the parents of Lawrence and Juanita Jones.
Her birthplace is Waco. She attended Chilton ISD from elementary to high school. While attending high school, Sandra was a member of Chilton’s drill team and a member of the basketball team.
After leaving Chilton ISD, she worked as an inspector at Bailey Corporation for over four years. After her tenure at Bailey Corporation, Sandra moved to DeSoto with her two sisters, Marilynn and Juann Jones. WHile in the Dallas area, Sandra attended Dallas Community College, she eventually moved to Golinda. Sandra lived in Golinda for 27 yars. She then moved to her hometown, Satin, to care for her mother.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Jones; eldest brother, Michael Jones; eldest sister, Marilynn Jones; brother Alvie Kenneth Jones; and sister Juann Jones.
Sandra is survived by her mother, Juanita Jones of Satin, TX; two sons, Jason and Brandon Taylor of Waco, TX; four grandchildren, JaNeceia Unique Taylor of Fort Worth, TX, Alejah Marie Taylor of Cleburne, TX, Brandon Taylor, Jr. of Dallas, TX, and Brandon Scott Taylor of Waco, TX; sister, Dr. Charlotte Jones of Golinda, TX; and godsister, Phyllis Jones of Waco, TX. Sandra has aunts, and uncle, and a host of nieces, and nephews.
She took pride in her membership at Carver Park Baptist Church, Waco, TX.
Pallbearers: Dennis DeGrate, Rickey Thomas, Brandon Taylor, Jr., Don Taylor, Matthew Cox, and Robert Evans, Jr.
