Sharon Wiggins Hedgecoke, 75, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 after a battle with cancer.
Celebration of Life Service: 10AM Wednesday, June 26 at Journey Christian Community in China Spring.
She was born March 22, 1949 in Pasadena to Oran and Lucille Wiggins.
Sharon was a dedicated and loving mother to her four children, first and foremost and was always active and busy during their years growing up. Crafts were a specialty of hers; making everything from clothing and stuffed animals to quilts and house decorations. Her strength physically and mentally always showed through in everything she did- up until the very end when it was time for her to rest in the arms of our Father.She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Brian Shane Hedgecoke; father, Oran W. Wiggins; and brother, David Wiggins.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Hedgecoke; daughters and their husbands, Tiffany and Tyler Minnish, and Natalie and Damon BeShears; son, Terrence Hedgecoke; grandchildren (whom she is endearingly referred to by as MeMe), Alexis Minnish, Jayden Minnish, Payton BeShears, Tanner Burrow, Blayne Hedgecoke, Dylan Hedgecoke, and Lucille Hedgecoke; mother, Lucille Wiggins; sister, Pam Armeli; brothers, Jimmy Wiggins and Don Wiggins; and a host of nieces and nephews. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
