Uncle Rick & Donna I am so sorry about Shawn. I remember him being so happy at the races and being so funny. He loved being at Grandma’s and had so much fun playing with Brandon. Though I was not there when he was growing up I remember him clearly from when I was there. I see he grew up to be a soldier like a lot of people in our family…what a hero! I know God will let him find rest and peace. Please pass my sympathy to his mom also.
Love, Anna

Thank you, Shawn, for your service to our country.
Shawn was my only true childhood friend. My childhood memories mainly consist of interacting with him and his family. He was such a great person and was always smiling. I can only hope he is in a better place. Deepest sympathy to his mother and Grandmother and all who knew him.
I JUST REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD TIMES WE HAD WHEN YOU WERE GROWING UP TAKING YOU PLACES AND TO THE RACES WITH ME WHILE I RACED CARS IN AUSTIN. I KNOW YOU HAD A HEART OF GOLD. YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL.
SHAWN WILL BE MISS RIP LOVE YOUR FIREND DEE
Richard… Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I hope God will comfort you & give you strength & healing in the days to come. I didn’t know your son but sounds like he was an awesome person and we have nephews that race at Heart ‘O Texas. We too were faced with a tragedy 3 yrs ago when my youngest brother Johnny lost his son (my nephew) who was 20 yrs old. If you need some-one to talk to, he would be a good person. I actually heard about this through him as Shawn worked with my brother at Texas Prestressed.
God bless you & your family,
Doris Stewart
I am very sorry to learn about this.

I only met Shawn once but he was kind to my children and was happy to greet my wife, my children and I into the family. We were so sorry to hear about his untimely loss.
Im sorry to here that he left this world so soon. We dont question why God sends them so early but he has a reason and its a good reason.
It was a priviledge to have met a person like Shawn. A thinker from outside the box, with an ambition driven by a V8. He had compassion for his fellow man, with the persona as big as his smile and laugh. You left your mark on alot of people, and we will never forget. Rest in peace bro, may your next journey be blessed.
My prayers are with all the family..I am friends with Jennifer Jones and wish all to praise the life of your loved one.
This is a very sudden and tragic loss. Shawn was a remarkable person and will be dearly missed. I pray for all family and friends.
Dear Shawn,
You are one of the most genuine and caring people that we had the opportunity of knowing. We cannot express how thankful we are that you were a part of our lives. You always treated us like family, and we felt deeply connected to you.
You will be severely missed.
Our condolences go out to all the people who cared so deeply for you, and you will not be forgotten. EVER.
Love,
Alex & Michael

He was the light of my life. The best thing to come from my life. He was so full of love for everybody and all things. Sensitive and caring.
He brought laughter and smiles for all around him. He’ll be thought of often and missed always. He was a candle in so much darkness. I’ll love him always and forever. My child, my son, my life. I’m grateful he was here as long as he was able and will be with me forever…………..

In short time of knowing you, you were a true blessing in me and my son’s life and I thank you for that and for all the love you always give to the Jones family, you will always be in our hearts.
We will miss you!
We did not know your son, but first let us extend our deepest sympathy to the entire family.
We also want to say, "Thank you", to this great American hero. He gave 6 years to help protect our country and for this we thank him and you, his family and loved ones, for that service.
We pray that God will be with you and give you the peace only He can give. He is the Comforter.
God bless you all and God bless America. We are a better country because of Shawn and men like him.
Our prayers are with you.
