Shelly LeeAnn Koerth was a caring wife, mother, aunt, Sister and friend. She left this world suddenly on September 19, 2021, at age 37. She was born to Ronnie and Susan “Suzie” Koerth on June 22, 1984. She was a proud China Spring Cougar her whole life. After graduating from high school, Shelly had a son, Greyson, fulfilling her life long dream to be a mother.
Shelly loved spending time with and taking pictures of all the children of her family. Anyone that met Shelly knew she had two nephews that she thought the world of. She spent her days going to all their games and activities. She was a fixture at McGregor high football games and was often surrounded by students taking pictures and laughing. Shelly would capture every moment of the games and then run a highlight reel on Facebook so we could all see the big moments of their life. The nephews and cousins would frequently visit Shelly and tell her of their newest adventures even into their adult years. Shelly lived for her family and had a special way of making you feel special with each new accomplishment. She was a proud sister and would often tell people of her big brother and all that he had accomplished, Sharing his successes on Facebook each chance she had. You could often find Shelly hanging out with her sister Stephanie on their days off, just laughing and making memories with the kids. Shelly enjoyed being outside running plays and practicing Greyson’s latest sports in the backyard. She was a devoted mother and Aunt to many and will be dearly missed.
Shelly was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert “Sonny.” and Bessie Koerth and her Mother Susan “Suzie” Koerth. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her companion Bruce Wagoner, son Greyson, Step Children Bruce and Roxanne, Brother Shawn Koerth and his Wife Tabetha, and their Children Mashal, Gabe, Lucy and Penny, Sister Stephanie Smelscer, and her husband Blaine and their Children Elliott and Noah, Grandparents Lawrence and Aileen Lumpkin, Aunt Jo and husband Rick Michalak, Cousin Jennifer butler and her daughter Savannah, Cousin Jason Butler and Wife Kristen and their children Caleb, Luke, Jace and Caroline.
